For the fifth year, Mercy Corps Northwest is putting some of the region’s most-innovative small businesses on display for the holidays.
In this instance, the nonprofit gets to effectively show off startups that it has nurtured. The “Northwest Made” market, which takes place Nov. 24, features 46 businesses that have either participated in the group’s Business Foundations classes and seminars or collected funding through Individual Development Account grants. The money helps small business owners save money for work-related expenses.
The event pointedly takes place on Small Business Saturday. Mercy Corps Northwest will host the offering between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. at its 43 S.W. Naito Parkway headquarters.
Mercy Corps provided an inside look at 10 of the companies that’ll sell their wares during the event. Click on the link below to learn about these cutting-edge enterprises.
