OtherStartup Riot aims to get deals done on Nov. 10

Startup Riot PDX is an all-day event that gives 30 startups the opportunity to pitch to investors with a three-minute, four-slide presentation, followed by Q&A. With John Friess, founder of Journey Gym, as our MC, it’s bound to be a high energy day!

What makes this different from any other startup conference you’ve heard about or attended?

First, this event is about getting deals done. We’ll have three categories of entrepreneurs: ANGEL, SEED, and STUDENT, each representing different stages of development, different funding needs, and different deals. Startup Riot PDX means business (with a splash of fun too).

Second, ticket prices are low to be affordable for everyone (entrepreneurs – $15 for the day; investors – $35 for the day). And, presenters are free. An added bonus? After we cover expenses, all remaining revenue will be donated to LEP (Leadership and Entrepreneurship) High School in Portland.

Startup Riot PDX is being brought to you by a committee dedicated to finding new ways to help entrepreneurs and investors make the right connections and support promising startups.

Spread the word to save the date – Saturday, November 10, at the University of Portland.
