The Oregon Entrepreneurs Network (OEN) has named a new board of directors four members joining thirteen returning members. 

OEN is delighted to welcome four new directors to the board while retaining the majority of its members as the organization ends a year of financial stabilization and explosive membership growth. The 2025 board recruitment process was very competitive and continued to focus on adding directors that bring diverse skills and perspectives to the entrepreneurial community including a director from Eastern Oregon, one with semiconductor business expertise, and a third with a life sciences background. 

The new board members include: 

  • Novin Kaihani, Senior Director, General Manager Client Software Products, Intel | Mr. Kaihani has over 15 years of experience spanning finance, product leadership, and operations. Having been born and raised in Oregon, he’s very passionate about giving back to the community that has been supportive of him throughout his career.
  • Nancy Lime, EIR, ONAMI and COO, Lazarus 3D | With 20+ years of C-suite experience in the life sciences sector, Ms. Lime has developed an expertise to lead organizations through complex technology development and commercialization from the start-up phase to multi-million revenue generating companies. Ms. Lime’s professional journey includes pivotal roles in driving innovation and operational excellence and she has a passion to help the next generation of life science leaders to bring new technologies and approaches to solve the world’s healthcare challenges.
  • Drea Schmidt, Partner, Tonkon Torp |  Ms. Schmidt has worked as an attorney serving Oregon’s business community for 15 years with a practice that focuses on securities, corporate governance, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters.. She enjoys international travel and adventuring closer to home with her wife and two young boys.
  • Joseph Wyno, Executive Director, Oregon UAS Accelerator | Mr. Wyno is a passionate servant leader with over 25 years of global entrepreneurial experience and now serves as the Executive Director of the Oregon UAS Accelerator, Oregon’s Center of Innovation Excellence for uncrewed aerial and robotic innovation. Previously, he led Southern California’s LaunchPad Accelerator, where his efforts helped secure over $1.6 billion in capital and create 5,000 high-paying jobs.

The re-elected directors are Ryan Comingdeer, Michael Goetz, Anne Lipsitz, Beth Nguyen, Scé Pike, Scott Sandler, Mike White, and John Williams. The returning directors are Paige Hendrix Buckner, Dave Hansen, Mary Hull, Deepthi Madhava, and Kasem Rodriguez Moshen,  Michael Goetz, Director at Cushman Wakefield, was elected to serve a second term as Board Chair with Scé Pike continuing in the Vice-Chair role and Beth Nguyen in the Treasure role. Drea Schmidt will join the Executive Committee as Secretary. Board terms are two years and the directors’ guide OEN’s work supporting entrepreneurs across Oregon and SW Washington.

“The OEN Board of Directors has been critical to the organization’s continued stabilization and membership growth throughout 2024 and it is exciting that many of the directors are committed to supporting the organization for another year,” said Turano, in a written statement. “The new directors bring a breadth of industry perspective from around the state that brings invaluable experience to OEN as we support the region’s entrepreneurs. We are grateful to the OEN Board for the dedication of their time and talent.”
