OEN Member NewsOEN Awards: Meet the Finalists in the Entrepreneurial Achievement Category
If you’re interested in the local startup community, join us on Tuesday, October 29, at the Oregon Convention Center for the OEN Tom Holce Entrepreneurship Awards. Come meet these finalists in person, chat with other hard-working entrepreneurs, and network with future business leaders.
Meet the Finalists
Last week, we heard from the finalists in the Growth Stage category. Now, let’s hear from the finalists in the Entrepreneurial Achievement category.
Instead of recognizing a company or enterprise, this award recognizes those individuals or founding teams who demonstrate business achievement through resourcefulness, creativity, risk-taking, savvy decision-making, leadership, and vision.
It was only a year ago when Wildfang’s Emma Mcilroy, after opening a third and fourth brick and mortar store in New York and Los Angeles, won the award in a category that included Jason Bolt of Revant Optics, Mahmood Sher-Jan of RADAR, and Tim Hysell and Dan Sisson of ZincFive.
This year, Jason Bolt has returned as a finalist and is joined in the category by Alli Magyar of Hubb, Inc., Ana Chaud of Garden Bar, Jessi Duley of BurnCycle, and Lisa Sedlar of Green Zebra. The OEN judges worked around the clock to narrow the field down to these five outstanding entrepreneurial role models.
What do you believe is the most important core value to be successful? We asked the finalists that very question and here is what they said.
