Pensole Footwear Design Academy is coming to the small screen.

The Portland-based school for aspiring footwear designers on Monday announced a deal with 10X10 Entertainment and Lagardére Sports to produce an eight-episode reality TV show.

The show will film at Pensole’s office in Portland.

“For this design competition we are looking for hardworking, highly competitive and highly skilled aspiring footwear designers with raw talent and fun, outgoing personalities,” Pensole founder D’Wayne Edwards said, in a news release.

“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for designers who are ready to change their lives because the winner will have his/her shoe sold through a major retailer and will also win cash and prizes.”

Applications are being accepted on Pensole’s website. The show will feature 18 students completing various projects, including making a wearable prototype. Pensole will provide airfare, housing and tuition.

Filming starts in February 2017. Distribution details have not been announced.

Edwards, a former Jordan Brand design director, founded Pensole in 2010.
