Urban Airship has secured another $9 million from investors in its series D funding round. The round, which started in October, is now closed at a hearty $21 million level. The company wasted no time putting some of that money to work. In the same announcement, Urban Airship introduced two new executives. Erin Hintz will become chief marketing officer while Mike Musson comes on board as senior vice president of strategy and business development.
