Launch Stage company finalists will be selected by Angel Oregon investment team in early April
After several weeks of practicing their investor pitches, getting feedback on their business ideas and participating in the all-day Upstart Day with investors and mentors, six young Concept Stage companies have made it to the finalist round of OEN’s Angel Oregon 2013, out of a group of 25 Concept Stage semi-finalists selected in early February.
The six finalists, who are all very early stage companies representing sectors such as clean tech, energy, healthcare and software, are now invited to present at this year’s half-day Angel Oregon investment conference Wednesday, April 17 at the Governor Hotel in Portland.
While not eligible for the investment award that the Launch Stage companies are vying for, the Concept Stage finalists will compete for several prizes designed to help the entrepreneurs grow their businesses.
