June 20, 2012, Portland, Ore. — Today the Oregon Entrepreneurs Network (OEN) announced that Leslie Constans has joined the organization as OEN’s new director of marketing and communications.
Constans has more than 18 years experience in the high-tech and consumer sectors building brand visibility and establishing thought leadership through strategic marketing communications and public relations programs.
“We are really excited to have someone of Leslie’s caliber joining the OEN team,” said Linda Weston, president and executive director of OEN. “Her experience building visibility with target audiences will serve OEN and its membership well.”
Weston added, “Leslie is very familiar with OEN, and with the entrepreneurial community–some years ago, she was a volunteer on the OEN Marketing Committee–so we are delighted to have her on board.”
Constans comes to OEN from Portland-based Knowledge Universe, where she most recently led PR and content marketing efforts for several of the company’s education brands and corporate philanthropy program. She previously held senior communications positions at Columbia Sportswear, Digimarc Corporation and IBM and began her career as a business reporter at Community Newspapers, Inc. Constans holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Oregon.
