Angel Oregon 2009 Investment Committee

The OEN Angel Oregon Investment Committee is a structured, investor-driven angel fund comprised of over 50 accredited investors. It operates independently of, but in close collaboration with OEN, which does not have a financial interest in the OEN Angel Oregon Investment Committee. Several organizations donate time and resources to operate the fund, including OEN and Perkins Coie.

The committee is comprised of new and veteran and new angel investors who collaborate with multiple objectives:

  • Educate new angel investors and enhance the skills of veterans
  • Build a collaborative network of investors that endures beyond the conference
  • Identify and invest in a few promising early stage companies, tapping the collective expertise and contacts of the group
  • Build momentum for funding of early stage Northwest companies
For investors, the OEN Angel Oregon Investment Committee's ten-week investment process is designed to encourage effective decision-making, relationship building, and hands on learning.  For companies, the committee provides feedback and guidance related to fundraising.  The net result is a carefully screened and prepared group of companies.  This makes OEN’s Angel Oregon the premier venue for matching the brightest entrepreneurs in Oregon and Southwest Washington with qualified angel investors.
